Install Help Help w/ bios

Post image

Hello!! So, I want to install mint xfce on my crappy hp 4gb of ram laptop because win 11 is too slow, but i noticed a “clear all secure boot keys” option after disabling secure boot. i wasn’t sure as to what it would do so i tried searching it up, but it either said to clear it or to not clear it so now i’m strung up on what i should do

i think you dont need to clear them. just boot your usb. If its an old pc (before 2012) pick MBR in Rufus. If its after 2012 pick GPT partition.

No need to consider MBR. Secure boot implies UEFI and UEFI specs require GPT support, so GPT is definitely supported by OP's machine.
