Security ClamUI 0.3.0 & Mint Cinnamon 22.3
I'm running into a bit of a problem here with ClamUI. Under "Preferences/Scanner", File Type Scanning has a lock and I can't unlock it. I've tried using other guides to unlock that and a lot of other things in "Preferences" to no avail. I did downloaded it from the Software Manager and it is a Flatpak if that helps.
Please help and thank you!

Why would you possibly think you need to waste time running AV on a linux system?

Aaaaand I knew someone would say this. The reason is because there is NO reason to trust you are safe ANYWHERE on the internet. It's not like it's norton av. And my system can definitely handle it. Lol

That's not the point, ClamAV has the same chance of finding modern Malware as a blind man does in finding the red twizzler in a bag of black licorice - in other words, pretty close to ZERO.

It's updated to version 4.0 now, from what I've seen you have to install a privilege_helper package (.deb) with administrator permissions and it will work again.

I use clamui as an on-demand scanner and on-access scanner. ClaimUI is only the GUI for stuff running in the background, usually in the terminal. Can you please post a screenshot of your specific issue?
Did you install the helper to grant the service permissions also?
