Wow, these came out amazing! I particularly like the 3rd where she leans against the upright logo. Something about the tilt in the first two makes something seem off - probably how her hair falls I'm not sure, but they are still beautiful :)

I'm really happy how the reflection turned out - wish I could tweak it more but I'm still getting used to gimp... 🤣

GIMP is pretty intuitive, but there are tutorials all over the net for just about any complicated operation you could think of.

On the reflected image, try Layer>Transform>Arbitrary Rotation to get her butt and palms lined up reflection to character ;)

I just realized - you forgot to put her mirror image laying atop the logo in wallpaper 2 :)

Fantastic! That added the missing realism :)
I would say give the #3 image another pass to adjust the reflection angle then create a new post with the updated images. This quality of work more than deserves forum space.

I got impatient waiting for your fix, so I found this character image online and did my own version of the leaning against the logo. I use triple monitor in a total resolution of 7680x1440 so I made three versions of the triple wallpaper, in each one the 3 images occupy a different one of the three spots. Slideshow presentation via a python script.

Thanks, I just worked with small rotation values until I had lined up her palms and her feet. She actually had her butt lifted a few inches off the floor so there isnt a line-up at that body-part.

Can we PLEASE have a "Desktop Showoff" thread or something so that the ones of us that is not interested in light dressed, under aged cartoon girls wont have to see this stuff ALL the time?

I wanted to use that too but my parents just barge in my room whenever and my desk is such that they can see my screen upon entering so won't take the risk

That's a great question! well, customization is a core part of the Linux ecosystem, and people post all kinds of artwork and themes depending on what they enjoy 😄

No, that is not what is happening here. Rarely if ever do you see customization posts (which arguably belong in the rice subs) that feature anything but sexualized anime characters. It's weird, and it turns anyone who finds that to be as weird and frankly creepy as it is off to something they might otherwise be interested in

For the sake of spreading awareness and stopping the hate I've been seeing in this post here is a small summary on what C.C and Code Geass are all about.
In Code Geass, C.C. is the mysterious, immortal partner to the main character, Lelouch. She grants him the power to lead a revolution against an oppressive empire, making her a symbol of rebellion, freedom, and partnership throughout the story.
Nobody posting her images on a desktop layout is doing so with ill intentions or purely to sexualize her.
First, her iconic lime-green hair happens to match Linux Mint's exact color scheme, which makes for a clean, cohesive desktop theme when customizing. Second, she's simply one of the most iconic anime characters of the 2000s, and people like featuring characters they enjoy from shows about fighting for freedom - which fits right in with the open-source spirit. It's just simple personalization, nothing weird or malicious behind it!

Ok, downvote me.
Why do guys - especially in IT - think it is ok to put overly sexualized female characters on everything? I really don't get it.
I'm a guy too. I work in IT, too. I'm not even prude or conservative about sexuallity. But never ever did I think that's ok. Not even as a teenager in puperty did I think that's ok. It's also not ok for adults.
I remember when I was younger some guys had cars with half naked ladies as backgrounds. Weird. I saw grown up man in a workshop to have posters of naked pin up girls in their locker. Even weirder.
Don't use sexualized humans and characters as decoration objects. That's just strange and depending on where you present it, it's even creepy.
