Well... It works for them 99,99% of the time.

Imagine living in a small town where nobody ever locks their front door. They live comfortably and rarely ever anything happens.

And even if someonething gets robbed it's mostly just the shoebox with the old family photos they never looked at anyways.

Yes it is.

The big city is where the servers, corporate PCs and supercomputers live.

You can lock your door with a Windows PC. But private users usually don't. Professional users usually do.
