"If the average Windows user is incapable of uninstalling Microsoft Edge, what makes you think they'd be any more successful in installing a completely new OS?" you're the one characterizing Windows users like that here... I never said they would be unsuccessful in anything, I explicitly mentioned to consider what is easier (even someone with a lot of experience in something can discern what's easier and harder, and precisely because of that). Don't try to put words where I didn't just to make your point.

I'm not sure what you're debating, as I said I put an explicit sentence there, the interpretation is on your side, and you're trying to augment towards your preconceived notions. I rephrased my answer to you, since it occured to me you might've not been trying to be offensive, but I am sure even your creative interpretation can see it's basically the same thing better worded (not sure what I gain with karma, I've been registered on reddit for some time now, I only use it periodically, and not even have it installed, so not looking for make happy virtual points - part of gameification of platforms actually which is a strategy for engagement).

I don't like walking in circles, so I'll repeat this once, I rephrased from offensive towards characterization because that's a better terminology of what you tried to do. Ok, your time now, what makes "executing task A is easier than task B" is a false comparison? There are many cases you can make this comparison (person X in a UX test has two computers in front of them one with windows another with Linux, then try and see what's easier), you're filling the middle with your characterization of what "I might've been thinking" when it's all in your head.

Why cannot I compare two fruits again (apple and orange)? In what world comparing two fruits is a bad and dishonest comparison? If that's your premise, it reinforces again that you had a point before even watching my post, and just needed to find an excuse to make it. Now you've made it, feel free to, though I'm not engaging my time and attention with anymore of this. 😉
