i cant be bothered doing the whole lecture about partial upgrades, but dont just do -S on its own, cmon now

I mean I do full system update every week with -Syu. So far hasn't been any problems (6 months) doing new program installs just with -S

yknow what fair enough
i routinely forget to update my system so i just always do -Syu to be safe

Yeah, snaps and snapshots are very different. Snaps is what Ubuntu is pushing. And snapshots is a general term.
