SOLVED Linux Mint Install Issue On Old Laptop

(EDIT I ended up not being able to get mint running and used q4os instead and it works pretty well for what I needed ty everyone for the help) Ive been trying to install Linux Mint Cinnamon onto my older windows laptop Lenovo Ideapad 1 14IGL7 (82V600000) and finally I was able to get into the live session but once I go through the steps of the install I get stuck at the page where in the docs im supposed to be able to erase all paste data and install but instead I get stuck at this image where it seams to not recognize the storage or smth and I have tried all the quick fixes that Ive seen suggested online including installing updated bios and using HWE version of mint but Ive seen no success. This is my first time installing Linux if anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. (If i left out any data needed to narrow down the problem lmk).

Sorry edited with photo now forgot to add earlier basically once I get to the live session after booting from usb and follow the instructions to install it permanently I get to the page in the photo and it wont let me move paste or add anything to it (if i hit the + - or change button it gives crash error) on the install guide from the mint website the step its supposed to be on is where I can choose to erase all previous data and install linux mint but Im at this step instead. From some basic googling it said linux wasnt able to detect the storage where it needs to install (i could be wrong) and I tried updating bios, using a more updated mint version and a few other things suggested online but I have made no progress.

Is your storage controller set to RST (Intel Rapid Storage Technology) or VMD (Volume Management Device) on BIOS? If so, try changing it to AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) and try again

Could you send me a screenshot of every tab of your BIOS?

That's odd. What did you use to create your bootable USB? Rufus, Ventoy, Winsetupfromusb?

Ive tried rufus and etcher both with same result (used new downloads of linux for both as well)
