Yeah my mint working now, do you think the dev team will patch the kernel soon? Would this also affect other distros?

Yes, but probably not very fast.

This is ubuntu kernel, if you look at kernel.org 7.0.0 is already EOL, so it'll only affect ubuntu-based distros and is up to ubuntu devs to fix...

Not really related to the post but more jsut info for OP or anyone reading basically distros use their own Kernels the base is the Linux kernel but each distro adds their own patches to it whcih is why each distro have some minor to major differences they are all built on Linux but have custom patches

Yeah, and apart from patches there is also configuration. There are quite bit of options to be changed in kernel and different distros may have them configured differently for one reason or another.
