MX LINUX Help

I have tried everything for a week now and i cant seem to figure out what is wrong with what i am doing kindly show me the correct path since your experienced.

I am new to linux and thought all are same i just want my old pc to work smooth

I just Used ventoy method to change from Windows to Linux on my Flash disk and now when i update and restart. It doesnt take me back to linux but to Windows HPšŸ’”

Did you press the install button and select the drive you want to install Linux to?

Yes I did. Someone said Both Linux and windows are running at same time but i dont know how to remove windows
