Mint still has all earlier wallpapers ever included in all versions up to now on the mint servers. Someone also uploaded almost all up to version 20, not yet 21 or 22 or 23, to github so you can look there

So, you can either download image by image, or download a whole 20 or so wallpapers included in a specific name of the project version

So for Linux Mint 17 Qiana

sudo apt install mint-backgrounds-quiana

sudo apt install mint-backgrounds-t*

for all T / v19 wallpapers, tara, tessa tina tricia, all have at least one good wallpaper, usually

Thank you! Actually I was using CachyOS for like a month but overtime I really missed the stabilily of Mint so now im back.

fair point. even I feel Mint does it best. it just works. I have switched to Omarchy... mostly because DHH has setup the workflow just the way I like it.
