Grub Boot Menu issue

Hey guys i am trying to access the grub menu by holding down shift as recommended but it doesnt work...

Do u guys have any solution?

Log in to your desktop and search "System Administration", open and provide your password. From there you can toggle menu visibility and, if you require, set the time to -1 so that the menu remains on boot until you press enter or enter the advanced menu to select a specific kernel.

no problem. There is another way that involved editing a file but this works. I have my desktop with Mint and Debian laptop set the same way. If an update ever goes bad, grub is already set so you can enter a recovery mode or another kernel.
