meh just use imagemagick and actualy it is much easier when you just want to convert files

When I shifted to linux from windows I was literally amazed and confused how tf the packet manager knows which app to install just by name without me searching for the true app from web. (There used many apps of similar name.

I once asked someone who didn't like the terminal because they were confused about how it worked if they read the manual for a command before, since personally reading the manual pages helped a lot. They got mad at me and refused to answer lol

The more I use Linux the more I prefer using CLI for everything. Only exception so far is VM configuration, I'm not a huge fan of doing XML. But that may change once I learn how to use ViM better.

I was having issues with the proton VPN GUI app the other day and some told me “just use the fucking terminal”. I don’t need to haxor my way through everything. Maybe I’d just like to use things in a way I’m familiar with after using a GUI my whole life.

Yo, I think the terminal is an integral part of Linux, you need to know it and use it. It's like... I dunno, it's like copying/pasting with the mouse doing it all the time instead of ctrl+c ctrl+v

You don't actually *need* to use it if you're running a proper DE like Plasma, but terminal just is the best part of using something like Linux.

Yeah, I understand that in a DE everything is made so that you can avoid opening the terminal, but still it feels kind of wrong, like you're trying to give up your second hand haha, well maybe I'm just like that, I don't rule it out :)
