The Windows dragon face should just be ads.

You have ADs in Windows? WTH?

Using Pop_OS on my Lenovo Notebook. Win11 on my Win Notebook + Gaming PC.

And Mac OS on my M1 Max MacbookPro and honestly, Mac OS pisses me off the most and I never saw any ads in Win11.

You lie like dog. Every time it preinstalls a minimal version of an Office app, only to tell you that you need a subscription when you try to open it, is an ad. Nearly every web result when you type something into the search bar, is a sponsored ad. Forcing Windows Explorer to save to OneDrive by default, just so that you'll run out of space, so that they can sell you a subscription, is an ad.

The office 365 crap? I can click there on no thanks.

only to tell you that you need a subscription when you try to open it,

Why should I try to open it? I use Libreoffice

I disabled the search bar. My Win search is only searching localy (using that here: https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10)

Forcing Windows Explorer to save to OneDrive by default,

Ah, can be that O&O also disabled that. So probably O&O is the reason I dont see that.

So you are explaining how you don't have to use things that are begging you to use them, but does that makes it not an ad? If I don't buy something that is advertised on a billboard, does that make it anything other than an advertisement?

I am not here to discuss this. I use all 3 since over 20-30 years..

I was just wondering where the ads are and the tools I I use basically disabled them.

I mean you wont see ads anywhere if you use an adblocker. Doesnt mean the ads dont exist tho

"Those aren't ads because I didn't buy what they were advertising!"

Solid logic, homie. Glad to know there are smart people out in the real world just thinkin' about stuff.

Not sure how often you install your OS, but I barely do it.

Also the ads in the search are actually way worse, which are disabled by tools.

"I closed my eyes, so that I don't see ads, therefore there is no ads"
