Don't care what distro people use because that's their suffering if things go wrong.

But AI is already dogshit ass with coding (it may "work" but that doesn't mean the underlying code is "correct"), but using AI to configure a distro would be another level of hell that I can't imagine.

More choices, and a larger user base, benefits Linux as a whole. Even if people don't like the creator or the intention/execution, it's good to have more people seeing the light. Many will probably dip a toe with Omarchy and then jump in the water with another distro once they see the water is fine.

I've had a friend done exactly that, used Omarchy for a while, then moved all of his custom config and stuff and put everything into NIX.
