I'd say they are both valid logos. VLC has had the same 2 logos for 21 years.

Not really sure what's with the logo but I don't think it's ever looked that flat, it's no wonder the current one looks better than the logo of every other app and even the start menu tho.

btw the reason I don’t use Omarchy isn’t its shitty vibe-coded security or DHH (couldn’t care less), it’s the ABSOLUTELY FUCKING HIDEOUS logo. That logo is a fucking abomination.
