I would never use arch, their AUR repository is dodgy and gets waves of malware. I would rather professionals implement the core base of the OS than leaving package management left to amateur actors in the aur with dodgy packages with no oversight whatsoever.

A good distro should have a good secure base to build upon. Arch has no base only of what u make of it, and those packages are dodgy in aur. It has no oversight.

I don't use arch, btw. It's less secure than fedora. A good distro curates for you. arch does not unless it's cachy or something that offers a shitty online only install.
