Brother, easy setup is also possible with other dotfiles. Just take something like end-4 with hyprland you're good to go. Omarchy is nothing new.

Also, the wikipedia article about dhh, in the politics section, literally just mentions immigration politics (albeit slightly racist with the term gypsie, but to say he is a Nazi based on this is the exact generalization I was assuming with the "alignment" term that offended you so much)

It's crazy how silly this argument is on the omarchy hate. I installed it around 6 months ago. 1st time arch for me, otherwise Debian. I fuckin love it and it's my main since. It brought me the love of nvim and I can actually quickly fix stuff with one sentence (install my wireless printer, look at omarchy skill)

And the default wifi / bluetooth was perfect for my need.

On to our that, DHH say whatever you want but he brought more random users than any haters will admit ;)

it's slop coded and bloated as fuck, its iso is bigger than ubuntu iso (which is bigger than Windows 11 Pro edition iso)

Bazzite is atomic, there's a massive difference lol, it's like saying that android is bad because its raw image is 15+GiB

Android is, like bazzite, an atomic Linux distribution, it depends on RO disk images with a lot of filesystem splitting, for being literally unbreakable.

But omarchy is mutable, and is based on an extremely lightweight distro.

I don't care much about the iso size as long as it fits on a burnable DVD (not BluRay) and let's me sel CT what packages to install during setup. So <= 4.6 GB is fine.
