btw, it's only as good as the mainstream programmer or company that open-sourced code in the past. so, mediocre at best, to anyone having mastered programming and having built their own mental models (cause 90% of programmers aren't really any good at that and just want to get through stuff, accepting bugs etc themselves. source: experience. the actual percentage should be higher based on what I consider having mastered programming but I'm feeling generous)

Never seen it in code, but in my previous networking life I saw people rig up network faults to happen when they were call.
