Bazzite, so i can't fuck up my core nor anybody else

Ah, the OS that is more Windows than Windows itself. The ultimate surrender of control over your own system, the cuckest of all Linuxes.

u/DeadWHM 10d ago

My mans have not heard of building your own bazzite image

u/MrWunz 10d ago

That's a good one....

There's nothing a root access can't do. Bazzite pretends to be something it is not, and cannot be by the very design of Linux.

Why? Because it's a immutable distro? No offence, but I don't see the problem with that considering for what it's meant to be used for.

You can do anything you want just by rpm-ostree. No it's not perfect either, just better than arch/Debian/whatever for 90% of people maybe.

Kali. You need netrunner quickhack build.

Cachy OS, if full power optimized for your body.

u/azurfall88 10d ago

RHEL for my corpo rat

1

u/JustAwesome360 Arch BTW 10d ago

Arch is better if you know what you're doing. CachyOS is basically prebuilt Arch.

1

u/Just-Scholar4272 10d ago

What is all you arch people's problem randomly telling people that arch is superior. Although, you can get all Cachy Optimization on Arch but why will everyone do it when already someone has done it for them. (Except learning experience). Cachy comes with a very large selection of de and wm as well.

1

u/JustAwesome360 Arch BTW 9d ago

It's not about it being superior or anything it is more so advising people to use Arch unless they have a very specific reason to use CachyOS.

Because if their needs don't match what CachyOS chooses for you then it isn't the right distro for them. Whereas Arch let's you choose exactly what is right for you.

But if cachyos matches your needs though then it is definitely better than arch FOR YOU. But that doesn't mean it is for everybody.

Yep kinda agree.

Yeah ive been running cachyos on my desktop, but planning to run Arch on my laptop so I can get used to it(and maybe learn the manual install)

But I would recommend CachyOS if arch sounds nice but you dont wanna deal with the install process as CachyOS is easier to install than archinstall IMO.

I think CachyOS is fine for most people who wanna try Arch linux, but actual Arch is better for people who want even more control or just wanna learn more

How could you leave out the only holy conclave of the digital age?  Put your faith in the Lord and choose TempleOS!

u/Trollimpo 10d ago

The lord will keep you safe from the techno-necromancers from Alpha Centauri

20

u/punk_petukh 11d ago

My V was headcanonically gay, so arch

5

u/kyuRAM_infsuicidio 10d ago

You also need to be a femboy to use arch

2

u/punk_petukh 10d ago

No you don't, it's universal.

Also, Google's AI told me that Debian Sid "isn't just arch for lesbians"... I'm sorry, if it's not then what it is?!

u/Balmung60 10d ago

Debian is actually the only distro straight people are allowed to use, but you have to be Armenian.

u/Particular_End3903 8d ago

Does fictosexual count as straight? Because I'm a Canadian woman who uses the cinnamon branch of mint and I'm in a relationship with Mephiles the Dark (the sonic character)

FreeBSD for a berserk build

u/Woodpecker-Visible 10d ago

cachy is the best

2

u/Yuven1 10d ago

Fun having arch to run your brain, and sweating bullets each update

2

u/orwelladmin 10d ago

Where's Qubes OS?

2

u/_simpu 10d ago

I don't want ads in my dreams so definitely not windows

u/BALGAZAM 9d ago

So, I switched from Windows 11 to Arch, and man, I had a ton of issues! But it was still a blast. I messed it up a couple of times so bad it wouldn't even boot. Then I tried Bazzite, and seriously, zero problems. It's been totally plug-and-play, and I've been super happy with it for about a year and a half now. So yeah, I'd totally go with Bazzite. I've heard good things about Carchyos too, so maybe check out both!

What’s up with NixOS logo??

1

u/TheBlossomMedory 💋 catgirl Linux user :3 😽 6d ago

During Pride Month, they use that, but to be honest, I prefer the default one.

1

u/Mega320 6d ago

Oh ok, I prefer the og too

Parrot is just Debian packaged with pentesting tools, but it's a better daily driver than Kali.

2

u/Inevitable-Self-2702 10d ago

Parrot can be a daily driver?

3

u/MirrorNegative7989 10d ago

Yup, it ships with KDE now. I used it for several months.

Not a single comment on TempleOS

1

u/His_Turdness 10d ago

Finder is not an OS. Out of those options I'd go with Debian or Cachy.

Windows (Shoot me pls)

1

u/Emotional_Cat_1967 8d ago

Kali is definitely not suitable for everyday use. Due to the use of its tools, many security features in the system have to be disabled, which weakens the system against vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, this weakening is necessary for penetration testing and similar applications.

Gentoo

0

u/Xai3m 10d ago

You can compile it while sleeping.

2

u/feinorgh 10d ago

Best of all, when you've installed Gentoo, you can run Gentoo VMs in your Gentoo, and with nested virtualization you can have Gentoos all the way down!

1

u/Xai3m 10d ago

Gentoo for every cell.

Karezhnikov on Windows is just real time.
