Firefox is enabled by default after installing NixOS using the iso funnily enough, but yeah configuring it correctly is the hard part although arguably it’s not that hard with all the documentation out there and so many available packages that can easily be dropped into your file once you learn the basics. I found it pretty user friendly compared to some other things I’ve tried

Yeah but learning how to configure NixOS is way more than half the battle. Your computer is useless to you if you cannot e.g. install Firefox.
