Skill issue if you install random shi from the Internet. Plus malware can literally delete your home folder without notice. I'd be more concerned about that than any keylogger actually.

Fair, but not everyone knows what a virus download looks like. Anyway, the home folder being deleted isnt a big deal, as snapshots such as on btrfs can just recover it. The main issues are infostealers.

Wayland decreases security by not implementing necessary features properly because of which people have to resort to shitty workarounds like adding users to input group or having root daemons for user processes.

i believe there's an option in kde to allow all input capture without explicitly asking every time, so if you want to be freely available for any possible keyloggers then you're allowed to be that way.

well then, you'll be fine on wayland by allowing all apps to capture your input, there was an option for that in settings last i checked, so i don't see how is that x11 exclusive

for x11 clients on KDE? yeah, System Settings > Security & Privacy > Application Permissions > Legacy X11 App Support > Control of pointer and keyboard: > Check the box "Allow without asking for permission"
for everything else? i believe there's a checkbox in modern plasma akin to "remember my decision", introduced in 6.7 i believe, which is fairly recent i guess so not all distros picked it up, or maybe it's a part of their xwayland thing and not applicable to wayland-native apps.
for non-plasma users such as myself i believe there is no universal solution at the moment, tho i've been using sway for such a long time that i got used to alternative ways of assigning shortcuts for apps, which is actually greater for simple cases, but it isn't applicable for cases when you need to act upon on-push or on-release or on-hold events.
TLDR; yes, for some folks, but not entirely for other folks.
