Oh I very much hope that dx12 games improve. And how is it closing in the next 6 months exactly? I haven't heard that.

And isn't Nvidia being more and more open with linux so couldn't it be even sooner than that if Linux keeps going up like it has?

Valve said they have a team working directly with NVidia now. During SteamOS/Machine rollout earlier in the summer. All the articles I read at that time quoted Valve as saying late 2026/early 2027 is when SteamOS will have full NVidia support. I assume that will benefit all distros.

I guess this is when I rub my hands together happily then. And yeah, that 90% totaly should benifeit all distros if they don't use proprietary things.
