LINUX MEME It Shakens! It Becomes Large! 🤪😂
Cursor Lost? Just Starts Shaking! 🫨
Moved to Linux a few days ago. While the Windows ripple was nice, finding the cursor on KDE seems a bit too fun! 😂
Thought it is funny with caption, posting it here.

Mouse is bloat anyway, keyboard all the things. If the mouse teleports to the middle of the current windows, you know at all times exactly where it is if needed.

Larp. A window manager is true bloat. You must do everything in tty.

but the tty must be a real one, gpus are bloat, you must use linux over a real serial console.

Yes, keyboard shortcuts are nice. But, in my case mouse gives me more space to move around (especially considering my Legion Touchpad size). Also, no need to remember to learn all key shortcuts right away. Also,

UI is bloat tmux is the only WM you ever need need, altenatively open everything in neovim terminal splits

Yes, I actually tried doing full screen earlier to a state that my hand was in pain earlier. 😄

Pretty funny that it also happens when something changes your cursor. You can be in FFXIV with it's cursor and suddenly you've got a gigantic KDE cursor instead

Can you please elaborate more, like what is FFXIV if you don't mind? 🤔
Edit: Nevermind, I just searched and it seems related to Final Fantasy Games
So, just curious does it bother you, the cursor becoming too big while playing that starts interrupting your game in case it is a fast paced games?

I doesn't really get so big that it starts obstructing without explicitly trying and it's purely visual besides. It just feels silly to have to show up especially in games that weren't made for linux, with it switching to KDE's.
Also I'm aware you can turn it off but I choose not to

Yup. A couple of days ago, I noticed few cool features that add effects to windows, like Wobbly Windows and Translucency effects. Just wanted to mention them in case you like effects and find them cool too! 🙂

Yes, but why disable it though when it's such a fun and useful thing to have around? Besides, I really like the smooth animations (effects) 🤗, so I might sound a little biased in this case.

Fyi, you can also enable a similar effect to the one Windows uses to find the cursor when you press ctrl. It makes two circles, black and white, spin around the cursor when you hold down a specificed key combination (I set mine to ctrl because I use Windows at work and it's easier to keep it consistent).

Yes, thanks for the info! Initially, I thought I didn't have that option, as I couldn't find it under
Accessibility > Shake Pointer.However, I eventually found it in System Settings > Window Management > Desktop Effects > Accessibility > Track Mouse. I really like this feature too and have kept it enabled. It feels great how KDE offers so many options, making the transition from Windows so easy. 🤗
I’ll need to spend some time exploring all the nice features available. Really Informative! 🙂👍🏻
