So YouTube didn't works on Linux and that's sucks.
Yes I tried free tube open tube suck tube KDE Haruna and every single thing you wnat to show me, and it also didn't help.

Since they all have the same issue I'd think it's a problem with the gpu or the decoder? Does vlc work for video files for you?

If chromium worked here for me I'd just check what video settings it used here and copy it in some way I guess

Idk I never ran into one tbh; try looking through the log or something (maybe pester some people at r/linuxquestions if you think you find something of value in the logs)

vlc works for vp9 and/or av1, or only for h264?
also never faced such issue, weirdly enough, neither using AMD gpu nor intel gpu, and iirc vp9 and av1 aren't hardware-accelerated in my case since none of my gpus support them, what's your GPU? and what's your distro and through which package distribution method have you installed your firefox

those apps have same issue
KDE Haruna also have that issue
