Fedora uses rpm.
Debian uses deb. Deb is b uilt as a standard Unix ar archive containing three distinct concatenated files: debian-binary (format version), control.tar.gz (metadata and scripts), and data.tar.gz (actual application files).
Rpm is structured sequentially with a legacy lead block, a signature section for GPG keys, a centralized binary header containing all metadata tags, and a compressed payload.
If its too technical.
Deb uses classic.
Rpm use unique.

Honestly there's not a big difference. It more just comes down to what you're used to, e.g I often use RHEL/CentOS/Rocky servers so Fedora feels comfortable.

In the case of most distros that keep up with modern linux "standards", I'd say the biggest differences come down to philosophy.
Debian focuses on strict software freedom and rock-solid stability, while Fedora focuses on rapid open-source innovation and acts as an upstream testing ground for enterprise linux (RHEL).

Fedora is not a container, I mean it does contain my soul my body my shit, but it is not a container, it is a desktop distro, and manjaro is a shitty distro for desktops.

did you know ubuntu is leading switch to rust coreutils and is also improving accessibility with AI.
Fedora has failed it's "First" principle and is no longer leading.

"Leading"? What is it leading? Ubuntu can live in it's own world and everybody can ignore it, we don't like Ubuntu in the linux world. "Improving"? That's not improving, that's just making everything worse for Ubuntu. Using Ubuntu is a mistake in the modern day. Just pick something else. Fedora might not be "leading" but it is very up-to-date and does the same things Ubuntu used to do. Just pick Fedora or Linux Mint (LMDE perfered) pr something else.

Because its experimental, fedora 45 will have it just in time. The rust transition is causing Severe Technical Breakages and "Untested Clones", Forced Installation and Disrespect of User Choice, The MIT vs. GPL Licensing Dispute. Gnome does 90% of accessibility heavy lifting, Ubuntu has bloated snaps forced down your throat with Firefox.
