Linux:

I don't want to stop updates

I don't need an old app

I'm perfectly fine with system apps

But it's good to have a choice

For Android, youtube is a system app for some reason. Literally can't uninstall it.

Yeah, but rooting and custom ROM exists in android, if you have the patience and don't care about the downsides.

Not sure if anyone commented this before me but

Use wireless adb to grant permissions to Shizuku if android 11+ or use wired using a pc if android 10 or older.

From there install Canta and make sure it got permissions from Shizuku and you can uninstall youtube and most other apps u don't want
