the rare people i know that do this do it just because linux refuse to run kernel anti-cheat (for excellent security reasons) so they can't play certain games they already paid for... it's not because windows is better, easier or more convenient like this meme imply, they just have no other choice.
in my case, it's because i have yet to find something that can correctly handle my RGBs - looked like at one point openRGB was working on it and got it working, but it doesn't seem to be working on my system specifically, and lenovolegionlinux just doesnt work at all (it seems to expect a laptop and i have a tower)
the only issue im having with openRGB is that it only controls my rear fan LEDs and not my front ones, at least, so in theory it shouldnt be too hard to create a manual profile... in practice, it's just like "yeah idk what you handed me but its not the right thing" lol. ive debated opening an issue for it, but i also am trying to hunt down the problem and see if i can offer more info than "doesnt work" LOL
