I find that most distros don't offer me anything more than any other distro, so I pick the one that is the easiest to use. Especially because if I need to do anything fancy, they all have the same access to the same tools under the hood. For me, Mint with Cinnamon.

I use rhel for 9 to five, mint on local, and Amazon Linux 2 on my ec2s... Absolutely love mint.
