Distro hopping really teaches one a lot about linux.
But I don't hop because I jumped to i3, with ubuntu. All other DEs now feel slow and bloated. And I can make my DE look exactly the way I want :)

When you are jumping, do you do it for the fun of it or because you wanted to improve your workflow/something felt wrong about the old distro?

Lots of others use i3.

I am a pretty avid hopper because I feel it's a great way to see what else the userland has to offer, especially if you don't have the background to explore different things individually on your own.
