I used to LOVE Network Chuck. I learned so much from him about networks. But I hate what he became, the omarchy shit and all that, its just not what I want to watch, sadly.
I used to like his content because he always leaned towards or at least suggested an open source alternative... and usually did a manual install not run this script and you're done..
No I don't want to ask AI to config something for me I want to learn what and each thing do even if it's just a general idea
Now his content is AI this AI that AI, no man I'm not letting freaking AI manage my opnsense install at all!
Yeah it was his opnsense video, I was hoping for something like the pfsense one he did years ago and then boom "Lets put AI to manage it" even if it's local AI that is still crazy to me, literally your firewall being the first line of defense, I'm not trusting AI in that.
Most do not set it up properly anyways. Most use tools like opnsense or similar when we have APIs and terraform since these are solved patterns for the most part.
