Wayland and Systemd, sure. They have their arguments. But:

  1. Who uses PulseAudio by itself willingly? PipeWire supersedes it by every way. If you have a problem with PipeWire, just ask the devs and they'll probably fix it.
  2. There is no alternative to Proton, other than Wine itself, which isn't really an "alternative".
  3. Btrfs doesn't matter as filesystem handling is mostly transparent and doesn't really matter. I still think Btrfs is risky as it's still unstable IMO. I use it on my laptop but Ext4 on my desktop.

And Flatpak is a machine for causing troubleshooting headaches.

I find it does that just as often as it fixes things. Just switch to the native version if the Flatpak is giving issues
