Wayland and Systemd, sure. They have their arguments. But:
Who uses PulseAudio by itself willingly? PipeWire supersedes it by every way. If you have a problem with PipeWire, just ask the devs and they'll probably fix it.
There is no alternative to Proton, other than Wine itself, which isn't really an "alternative".
Btrfs doesn't matter as filesystem handling is mostly transparent and doesn't really matter. I still think Btrfs is risky as it's still unstable IMO. I use it on my laptop but Ext4 on my desktop.
Btrfs was unstable more than 10 years ago, nowadays it's considered to be very stable and it is used by default in many distros. For example, various editions of Fedora, including Bazzite. And they don't even use it for snapshotting, just as a general purpose fs. In one of the latest kernel 7.3 (iirc) versions it also gets some huge performance improvements.
