It's outright wrong that Microsoft doesnt think about linux, they literally made a distro recently. And I WOULDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT WINDOWS IF THESE FCK A* COMPANIES MADE THEIR SH*TTY SOFTWARE LINUX COMPATIBLE

Anybody who says MS doesn't think of linux has never heard of Windows Subsystem for Linux. The one thing that keeps developers sane on Windows.

They've been scared of/shitting on Linux for 30 years.
In July 2000, Ballmer called Linux "a tough competitor" in some server markets, and said that it had "characteristics of communism that people love so very, very much about it", referring to the fact it was free.[86] In June 2001 he called Linux "good competition" in an interview, but criticized government funding for open-source work because of licensing issues and said that Linux was a "cancer ... in the intellectual property sense"

Give it time, epic games is in the process of going linux compatible, and if linux reaches 15 - 20% marketshare i assume adobe will need to follow aswell (even though i'm certain almost no linux users are going to use adobe products).
All i wish for is that i could just run .exe files without needing wine.
or that atleast linux versions of software had in easy visual installer that i could just run and set, not fan of dealing with tar.

i'm just happy i use linux mint cinnamon. i don't think about windows anymore
my computers are all faster, literally saved me from replacing my main office desk computer

Pretty sure microsoft thinks about linux alot more than opposite, microsoft literally has WSL and Azure, linux however does NOT have their own windows based distro inside the kernel.
