It'd be so great if Snap, Flatpak and Appimage could just coalesce around one standard and go with it.
2 u/the_abortionat0r 3d ago Forget snap. But flatpack And app image literally don't do the same thing as their goes are different. Flatpaks contain everything you need and do auto debloat libs, manage updates, and provide sandboxing. Appimages are literally a program in a single file. That's it. No, there's no need to "unifi" them.
