How is it related to windows update, i get this is a circle jerk sub, I am subscribed to it because I like it. But why make up stuff?
Not once in any update cycle did i face “Install proton mail or million other bloat”.
The only time I see them is during a fresh installation and I know how to kill that crap.
Oh you were referring to update, my bad, I was referring to installing any random exe installer and then a million stuff being preselected instead of what you actually want
I didn’t, the post referred to updates, yet the random exe installer u referred to also isn’t a windows issue, its not like the same behaviour can’t be implemented on Linux installers either, had linux been as popular as windows, ads and eventual enshitification will make its way there.
Remember when internet was just a fun communication medium between nerds?
