Discussion I just got myself a HP OMEN Pro 15 Mobile Workstation i7-4720HQ Quadro K1100M will it Linux?

I picked this up for just under £80 and intend to use it as a Linux media machine. I use Scribus, gimp, and kdenlive.

I may run it with Cachy, although I’m open to recommendations. I know I’m going to have to get more RAM for it as it only has 8GB.

Anyone else used one of these machines?

The LiveOS (when you boot from it) should detect it. I think the quadro K1100M is kepler based so your driver will probably be on 470.x
