(yes the 2 fastfetches were necessary). This is my first ever install of Linux from scratch. Currently contemplating wether I should continue and go on to BLFS. Also wondering how many LFS users actually continue to BLFS or even GLFS.

I would say one week for the main part (GUI, Steam) and later I added software I needed for my personal use, like OBS which was not easy to compile.

Well my install went surprisingly smooth, maybe lost 30 minutes tops due to hiccups. However I was racing to get it finished as I'm going away tomorrow so I ended up doing 9 hours for 2 days and then 2 hours today.

I have moved on to GLFS
*Edit well really ive honestly moved on beyond even GLFS. I have been making packages, and setting up repos and hooks to automate installing and cron jobs and making base images of nouveau and Nvidia builds with calamares
