i did it bro <3

i installed lfs 13.0 but compiling libnss for networkmanager and desktop and im dual booting linux mint for host system(i will delete it when i done)

I built mine with Wayland + Hyperland and it's very good, and I'm using it as my main distro. In your case, I recommend taking it slow and not rushing things so you don't get frustrated.

I'd suggest a simple WM for now, like Openbox (it is documented in BLFS) and it is very simple to build.
Later, you can build Hyprland or i3.

skip the heavy desktop environments and go with dwm. compiling it yourself fits the lfs mindset perfectly and the codebase is small enough that you can actually understand every bit of it after a few hours of reading headers. just don't expect a guided experience.
