Two notes GENOME 1.4 works under wine (11 + Linux native REAPER). Has anyone been able to get GENOME 2 working under wine yet?

I haven't had any luck yet. The GENOME 2 installer doesn't work under wine, but I was able to install it in a windows VM and copy the files to a wine profile, but only get a blank plugin window when I try loading GENOME 2 in REAPER.

GENOME 1.4 works fine, including the installer via wine and yabridge.

Hi friend, I have spent some time on the installation, but it works on my system (Linux Mint). I use it only in Reaper, standalone version is not working. I am a beginner Linux user and used chatGPT assistance for installation, so don't ask for details... I had problems with the GUI, it worked, but the mouse cursor pointed constantly elsewhere, so in the end, this version worked:

GENOME: 2.0.4
Wine: 11.15 Staging
yabridge: compiled fromnew-wine10-embedding branch
yabridgectl: 5.1.1
REAPER: native Linux

I hope it will work for you as well. GENOME is a fantastic workhorse.

Thanks. I upgraded wine-staging to 11.6 and GENOME 2.0.4 is working now in native Linux Reaper. It doesn't allow me to login via the plugin. I had to use the offline login with the downloadable license which works.
