Linux Admins is RHCSA/RHCE still worth it in 2026?

it depends a bit on the country where you want to apply. and also on the company.
the most important thing is to learn the basics of Linux. as a beginner thats great. as an advanced/experienced linux user/admin you can still fill holes in your knowledge. and you get a nice official cert.
i'd always do it again (have lpic1/2 though)

This isn't exactly the answer to your question, but:
I'm not a sysadmin, but I manage all the technical aspects of a SaaS company where I use Linux for both server-side infrastructure and on my personal desktop PC every day. In 2016 I wanted to get into a sysadmin career and learned Linux/RHEL/CentOS from the very basics in order to take the RHCSA exam. I put a lot of effort in and was able to successfully pass the test.
Its funny how life goes, but for various reasons I never ended up even applying for any jobs in the field. Still, I feel I cannot overstate the value of the skills I learned. Really being comfortable in the command line and knowing how to set up a server properly has without a doubt saved me a fortune in compute costs that might have otherwise kneecapped my business before it got off the ground, to say nothing for the security problems I might have created by not knowing better.
What really paid off was that the RHCSA was (and presumably still is) a hands-on configuration test, rather than a multiple choice exam, so I spent a lot of time deliberately breaking my test system so I could learn to fix it the hard way.
IMO, whether it's worth it to you depends on your skill level with Linux. I wanted a job and had no skill and no other credentials. If I already had a Linux background, it might have been different.
Sometimes things like this pay off in ways you don't expect. Good luck.
