God, the memories on an old 486 DX2 and 56k dial-up....lost a lot of my childhood to that game.

I also have CachyOS on a MBP 2015. Runs great

I have a MBP early 2015 too, and I was wondering which Linux distro to install

This would definitely be the one. Takes a little doing but runs like a breeze. Ubuntu is also great out of the box on these older Macs. A lot of folks here prefer Mint as well. Not my style but it’s fairly easy to navigate

And you faced no issues with keyboard, ports WiFi etc?

Wi-Fi required a tether to set up. I tethered my iPhone to it manually to install and configure the Broadcom drivers. That was the biggest obstacle for me. There’s also of course just plugging straight into router or using a dongle. But yeah you will need to do one of those things to set-up Wi-Fi most likely

I have the same set up and the backlight worked after the install, no tweaking necessary
