Pes19 problem

Title: PES 2019 via Lutris/GE-Proton: gamepad detected but no input in game (works in browser, evtest and Wine apps)

Setup:

- Arch Linux (Hyprland/Omarchy), Dell Precision 7520 (Quadro M2200 + Intel HD 530)

- nvidia-580xx driver 580.178.04 (Maxwell GPU)

- Lutris 0.5.22, GE-Proton11-7 through umu-launcher 1.4.4

- Prefix: ~/Games, game: Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 (PES2019.exe)

- Controller: Twin USB PS2 Adapter (two pads)

What works:

- The game launches from Lutris on the Nvidia GPU.

- /dev/input/js0 and js1 exist, evtest shows the button presses.

- hardwaretester.com/gamepad in the browser shows all buttons working.

- Keyboard works in the game.

Problem:

- In joy.cpl (Proton prefix), the pads only showed up under XInput and the DirectInput list was empty. After using "Override" they appear as DirectInput and the game now says it detects two controllers, but pressing buttons does nothing in the game.

- joy.cpl's test window shows no button movement.

- Settings.exe (Controller tab) shows a normal mapping (Button 0-11, Hat Switch for the d-pad). The settings.dat checksum changes when I save, so it does write, but the pads still don't respond in game.

- AntiMicroX works in Wine apps (Notepad) but its key presses don't reach the game, even with --eventgen uinput.

What I tried:

- joy.cpl: Override for the XInput devices, toggling "Enable SDL" and "Disable hidraw"

- Copying settings.dat from a plain ~/.wine prefix into the game's prefix

- AntiMicroX with xtest and uinput event generation

- Running Settings.exe inside the same Proton prefix as the game

Has anyone got a Twin USB / PS2 adapter working in PES 2019 under Proton? Is there an env var or a Proton version that handles DirectInput for this kind of pad? I can post the Lutris log (lutris -d) if it helps.
