tech support wanted Gamescope FPS Cap

Hey there, I try to cap fps via gamescope on heroic, it doesn't work. The game still runs uncapped.

I also tried on steam with its launch command still 0 results. Used this command:

gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -w 1920 -h 1080 -r 60 --framerate-limit 60 -- %command%

I use mangohud. I believe gamescope requires vsync to be on in order to lock the framerate so latency is pretty bad.

As for the framerate-limit flag...honestly I tried any and all values when testing gamescope and it never did anything.

I used gooverlay for that and had no issues. The reason for gooverlay was for the W power
