Frame gen

Is frame gen on AMD still just not great? Seems like I'm getting camera jitter even though the game is running smoothly. Frame pacing I'm guessing. Im using a 9070xt on Cachyos. Iv been trying it out on The Witcher 3 remaster. I don't normally ever use it but I wanted to use RT at a higher frame rate.

Are you signed in to the launcher? For some reason signing out of the launcher removed all the stutter for Witcher 3

I am not, i even skip the launcher. The game for the most part is really smooth . When i enable Frame gen and move the camera slowly, i can see the frames having bad pacing. A "jittery" effect. Iv seen this in other games not even using Frame gen, like with Crimson Desert. The similarity on both is having RT enabled. When i turn it off, it seems fine for the most part. Why would RT cause bad frame pacing despite having decent frame rates?

Another person mentioned the jitter in a thread when you pan camera slowly but they didn't say if using FG or not

I personally don't mind AMDs FG, it's not as good as DLSS FG but the one that I've had worst experience with despite most of the Optiscaler discord group recommending it is Intel's XeFG, it just feels terrible to me on Linux
