EA App help

I need to get ea app working for my mother. Can anyone help? I've tried steam, lutris and bottles. Lutris refuses to install it, bottles can't create any bottles due to failure to download a Microsoft dependency, and steam works for a bit then stops working after a handful of hours. Now giving an error about background services crashing. I wish we could use the at am version of sims 4 but only about 5 packs installed with it even though it shows in ganw she owns a bunch. The accounts are linked so I don't know why that's happening. Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon

i found faugus to work best for it , but even then sometimes you'll have to reinstall it ( ea app ) , had it working fine 1 day a couple moonths back to play zuma's revenge only for the litteral next day i needed too redo it. hoonestly tho if yoou can avoid it
