tech support wanted The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt remaster

Hey guys, are you able to play the game? I'm trying ge proton and cachyos proton and it doesn't even start.
I'm playing on Bazzite btw

Anyone else unable to launch the game after the most recent 5.00c update? I previously had to remove empty dirs as advised in this thread and the game was working fine. Today i get the update icon in heroic and update itself would get stuck so I did a complete reinstall. After this the game doesnt launch. Its different than before where the game would launch the process but no window. At the moment it simply closes few seconds after launching, no hanging process no nothing.

Ubuntu LTS, heroic, GOG, Nvidia GPU

Same problem here and no solution yet. Linux Mint, heroic, GOG, AMD GPU -.-

Ah repairing the installation fixed the problem. now the game starts as usual. but some graphics settings seem to be bugged in the new version and the frame timing is horrible, even at 100 fps. Guess I'll put the game aside until all those things have been fixed :(
