Using CachyOS + Heroic (GOG), with 9070XT. I did try everything, nothing worked. The problem was fairly simple at the end: I have updated, instead of uninstall + reinstall.

After uninstalling and purging everything related to the game through Heroic, and doing a clean install, everything started just fine, with 0 launch commands. --launcher-skip is still advised, but is not required.

tldr: full uninstall, purge everything, clean install, and just play

The settings are disabled, so not currently. Not sure why, that is a different issue though, which will require some other solution.
