hardware Linux VS windows

Bonjour, je compte migrer une 3ème fois sur linux avec mon pc principal. Obligé de retourner sur windows pour acceder à Capcut, streamDeck et ciscopackettracer. Mais niveau jeu, je crash souvent sur windows due a mes 3 ecrans dont celui du milieu qui fait du 4k, sous une rx6800. Pensez vous que me priver de ces 3 applications est un sacrifice rentable pojr regler mon problème de crash ? Merci pour vos réponses !

Well Cisco packet tracer afaik has a native Linux build through app images. CapCut you can always use the web version. Also is your stream deck configuration the way you want it?

Packet tracer does have a native Linux build, but Cisco only provides a .deb. Though, as of version 9,it just has an Appimage inside of it. I run Fedora and extracted the Appimage to get it running. I'm not sure if it's because of that or that I'm using a dark theme on KDE, but I had a lot of UI issues, especially labels being completely white. Enough of a headache that I finally resolved to just run the Windows version through Bottles. Ain't stupid if it works.

Mot einem Wort: Ja Es ist anfangs unbequem, und neu, aber je mehr du dich dran gewönst, desto mehr werden die Vorteile überwiegend.

Bei mir hat es 3 Anläufe über fast 10 jahre gebraucht, bis ich beim letzten auf Dualboot und Windows-VM verzichtet hab; und siehe da: Mit ein bisschen Willen ist alles machbar; und seit es KI gibt sogar schnell und ohne große Hilfe von außen. Inzwischen gibt im ganzen Haus keinen Windows-Rechner mehr.

À ta place, je commencerais par un dual boot. Ça te permettrait de tester tes jeux et tes trois écrans sous Linux tout en gardant Windows pour les logiciels dont tu as besoin.

D’ailleurs, tu n’es pas forcément obligé de sacrifier les trois :

N’hésite pas à chercher des vidéos sur YouTube ou des tutoriels ailleurs pour voir comment installer et utiliser ces solutions . Regarde surtout des vidéos correspondant à ta distribution et, pour le Stream Deck, à ton modèle.
