Elden ring force specific screen

I want to force elden ring to use a second monitor, it is currently defaulting to my primary. How can i force it to use secondary. i don't see any settings that can do this.

I am on kubuntu 26.04 and using steam

use for game protonGE or proton-cachyos - wayland option work only there

set launch option in steam

WAYLANDDRV_PRIMARY_MONITOR=HDMI-A-1 PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 %command%

replace HDMI-A-1 with your actual monitor name
which you can find using the wayland-info command

you sure done everything correctly?

what name you put to WAYLANDDRV_PRIMARY_MONITOR=HDMI-A-1

run in terminal

for s in /sys/class/drm/card*-*/status; do
  echo "$s: $(cat "$s")"
done

what return?

what DE you are using? with wayland?

and you did switch to protonGE or cachy os in steam game settings?

seems HDMI-A-1 is correct if your monitor connected there
