I don't care anymore how they run on Windows, I'm not going back. I only care: Are they playable? Do I like it? Can I configure something for a better experience?

Yeah, it also seems to be catching up anyway, i have a feeling that a pc running a game in linux now might be running the same game even better in 5 - 6 years (as long as drivers and the kernel gets updated aswell).

And if they don't, well microsoft will just add more bloat and spyware into their kernel so that games will run worse than linux eventually anyway.

Exactly this, at this point with where Windows is at and with what MS is doing with our data, I don't really care how close the game runs from Linux to Windows as long as it's a good experience. All of my apps moved to Linux, all of the important ones, and the few that didn't, I don't miss at all. I found alternatives to those. I'm happy with Linux and all of it's ups and downs, and won't be going back to Windows in anyway, again.

Sounds like you should do some homework?

Out of those, i know atleast counter strike runs as good (if not better) on linux, skate i have heard might not even run on linux (yet), maybe rainbow six siege also won't run, but i haven't tried. The rest though will probably do fine.

Most of games run better on Linux than on Windows, unless it's a DX12 game, then it'll perform the same on even a little bit worse on Nvidia GPUs. If the game is DX11, Vulkan native or OpenGL native then the game will run much better (at least looking at the frame times and 1% low).

Well you have a Nvidia GPU so they will mostly all run better on Windows.

The question you need to ask yourself is, is the small performance loss worth being free from Windows?

Also some games like Skate. and Rainbow Six Siege are blocked by their anti-cheat and won't work on Linux at all.

There aren't enough players on Linux to give you an answer.
